Crock Pot Turkey Breast

This is one of my go-to recipes.  We love it!  It's so easy.
  •  boneless frozen turkey breast
  • 1 medium onion, sliced into 4
  • 4 tbsp minced garlic
  • Pam cooking spray
  • Salt and Pepper
Remove all packaging from frozen turkey breast.  Sometimes, running the meat under hot water helps to get the netting off.  Season meat with salt and pepper, spray lightly with cooking spray.  Place frozen turkey breast into crock pot.

Put onion quarters spaced around turkey breast on bottom of crock pot.  Put minced garlic in bottom of crock pot around turkey breast as well.  You can't really see the onions on the right side of my picture, but they're there.

Put the lid on your crock pot and let that baby cook!  Because you're cooking the turkey from a frozen state, it makes a great onion/garlic liquid that the turkey breast will simmer in.

Cooking this in my crock pot takes about 5 hours on high.  I highly recommend using a meat thermometer.  I usually peel the skin off (it comes off much easier before the turkey is fully cooked and the meat is still moist because it's cooking in liquid), flip the turkey, and put the meat thermometer in around hour 3.  When the thickest part of your turkey reaches an internal temperature of 170 degrees F, your turkey is done.  Let it sit for around 10 minutes, slice, and eat.  So good!
